Dr. Stanford is a board-certified Internist and Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He completed the Medical Scientist Training Program at UCLA in 1998 which included a PhD in Physiology. His medical experience includes fifteen years of Hospital Medicine practice along with extensive participation and management of projects to improve the quality and safety of healthcare delivery. Dr. Stanford served as Clinical Chief of General Internal Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center from 2017 to 2018. He has recently received extensive training in Genomics and Precision Medicine along with Professional Certification in this area through Stanford University’s Department of Genetics and Genomics. Dr. Stanford provides consultative services to primary care providers (PCPs) and their patients to guide them through the rapidly evolving scientific landscape incorporating genomics testing and other elements of precision medicine. Information obtained through testing and measurement is analyzed, reported and reviewed with the PCP and patient to facilitate a personalized approach to healthcare planning for each individual patient.
